The clients belong to both the public as well as the private sector, multinational and Indian, from all sectors such as FMCG, banking, financial services, engineering, manufacturing, trading, information technology (both software and hardware), service, etc.
The firm has acted as a Single Window Resource Person for several foreign multinational and national companies to set up establishments in South India. Legal services have been rendered right from the stage of incorporation of companies, acquisition of properties upto the stage of commercial production (except for sales tax registration and income tax related matters).
One of the major areas of work of the firm relates to joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, preparation of transaction documents, etc. The firm has been involved in several large acquisitions and mergers, both National and International. The firm also deals extensively in intellectual property, civil and arbitration matters, labour and industrial cases besides indirect taxes and various consumer related cases and other branches of law except income tax and criminal cases (other than cases under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act) and trade mark law including registration of trade marks. Yet another area of work is in property related matters and the firm has acted in several very high value transactions for the acquisition, sale, lease, etc. of immovable properties, industrial, commercial and residential. The work done on such transactions is from the stage of conducting due diligence of title, up to the registration and release of the relevant documents. The firm has acted in such transactions for very large multinational, national and public sector corporations.
The partners of the firm also specialize in litigation at various levels including the Madras High Court, High Courts of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala & Karnataka and the firm accepts litigation work on behalf of the corporate sector in various Civil Courts in the City of Chennai and in various Tribunals throughout Tamil Nadu.
Apart from the three Partners and the Adviser, the firm has 30 qualified Advocates including several Principal Associates on its rolls to assist the firm on a full time basis. Several of the Associate Advocates are senior members of the Bar. The firm has a full-fledged infrastructure.
